Untitled #3 ~ Christine Tran

6 July 2009 No Comment

1.
i live in a house and never unpacked
dust has settled between cluttered mess
i found a box of molded books
my house flooded once, i guess

2.
they gave me a room to call my own
with boxes renamed and restacked
i’ve moved too many places to call one home
maybe that’s why i never unpacked

3.
i collected papers throughout the years
under my desk torn dried-out papers
they were stacked once under my desk
of half-read books and half-way notes for later

4.
i lived in a room to call my own
there are no bare walls to undress
people have come, gone and left
dust has settled between cluttered mess
