a trader bought 12 eggs for Rs 16 .For how much should he sell to gain 50 percent. please solve the question

  • CP of 12 eggs = 16
    CP of 1 egg = 16/12 = 4/3
    For 50% gain,
    SP of 1 egg = 4/3 + 50/100 * 4/3
    = 4/3 + 2/3
    = 5/3
    ∴ SP of 12 eggs = 5/3 * 12 = 20 Ans.
